This House Seasoning Blend is a homemade all-purpose seasoned salt made from a few staple pantry items you probably already have in your kitchen. It’s the perfect right-handy combination of flavor that will make your dishes consistently more delicious. Once you start using it, you won’t want to be without it!
You’re probably familiar with seasoned salt found on your grocer’s shelf. These blends are combos of seasonings that make dishes tastier and easier to prepare. They can cut down on a list of recipe ingredients which helps shorten food prep.
So does this homemade concoction. It’s super simple and easy to make but proves to be a big help in the kitchen. The basic combination enhances the real taste of foods without covering them up. Plus, it’s more economical than buying a pre-packaged bottle from the store.

Making A Batch Of House Seasoning Blend
This is probably the easiest recipe on the blog and the one most used in my kitchen. I add it to whatever I usually salt and pepper. Everything from flavoring my eggs in the morning to seasoning all kinds of meats, vegetables, seafood, and even popcorn!
Putting it together is simple. All you do is measure sea salt, garlic granules, and cayenne pepper into a mason jar, screw on the lid, and shake, shake, shake, and shake it some more. That’s it!

I started using this combination of salt, garlic granules, and red pepper when my children were small. My go-to dishes back then were made with lots of chicken and ground beef. I still get compliments when I use the seasoning today.
Try some in your burgers and on your chicken next time you grill. Simply delicious!
Note: Sea salt is made from evaporated ocean water and salty lake water. It’s not like table salt that is refined and depleted of its minerals; therefore, sea salt has some beneficial ingredients over table salt.
